We are looking to hire independent contractors to provide neurodiversity affirming cre and who specialize in working with children under the age of 12, adults/and/or couples. Our ideal candidates should be educated in a neurodivergence specialization and passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment for our clients. We value practitioners who are knowledgeable about different types of neurodiverse conditions and have experience working with individuals of diverse backgrounds. Registered Social Worker: Autism Specialist
Responsibilities
-
Provide counselling services to children aged 10 and below
AND/OR
-
Specialized Family therapy and parenting support in parenting Neurodivergent children/youth
AND/OR
-
Specialized Couples Therapy for couples with at least one neurodivergent partner
AND/OR
-
Working with neurodivergent adults
Additionally:
-
Provide person-centred, strength-based, neurodiversity affirming therapy
-
Educate clients about mental health issues and available resources.
-
Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
-
Provide referrals to other professionals or community resources as needed.
-
Provide Neurodiversity Affirming counselling support and encourage ND affirming practices in parenting, school settings etc.

Passion for working as a part of a team and in a collegial manner with other practitioners while also having the ability to work independently

Occupational Therapist
Responsibilities
-
Specialty in working with children under the age of 14
-
Evaluate patients to determine their physical, mental, and emotional abilities.

Develop treatment plans to help patients reach their goals.

Provide direct patient care, including exercises and activities to improve physical and cognitive functioning.

Educate patients and their families
-
Assist in the development of adaptive equipment and techniques to reach patient's goals.

Keep detailed records of patient progress.

Collaborate with other health care professionals to coordinate patient care.

Responsibilities

Assess and diagnose mental health issues.

Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.

Provide individual, family, and group therapy.

Educate patients on mental health issues and coping strategies.

Conduct psychological testing and assessments.

Keep accurate records of patient progress.
-
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications
